I saw Karol this past Saturday for lash extensions, and they are simply fabulous! I feel so much more feminine with my new extended lash line, and they look remarkably natural, as well.
Karol is obviously a great lash extensionist, as evidenced by the other reviews here. The reason she gets 5 stars from me is because she is so incredibly gentle throughout the process -- her touch was so light and delicate that I actually managed to relax and enjoy the process! I tend to be super jumpy when people get near my eyes, and it makes it hard for me to relax my eyelids -- they get twitchy. Karol's touch was so soft and light that I actually manged to get my eyes to completely relax, the same way they would if I were sleeping.
If you want to get fabulous lashes and have a spa-like experience in the process, go see Karol! She's nothing short of amazing.

I'm in love with my lash extensions!! Karol did wonders with my lashes.
This was my first time with lash extensions and I am truly amazed with the outcome. I'm the kind of person that is obsess with lashes and will spend 10-15 minutes per day putting on mascara or wear false lashes on a daily basis. With these lashes, I am able to wake up each morning with perfect lashes. Prior to lash extensions, my lashes were very fine and short. Now my lashes are longer, thicker, fuller, and feel very natural. The process only takes about 2 hours and it doesn't hurt at all. I highly recommend going to Karol for lash extensions. Not only is she a certified lash extensionist, she is the best in the bay area. She is worth every penny because she pay attention to detail and her line of work is of high quality. Her prices are very reasonable. If you are interested, I would definitely check out her website and call her to book an appointment asap. You may have to book in advance.

I love what Karol has done for my eyelashes!
I'm one of those impulsive people that carelessly go to a place and get something done. I was lucky to have gotten a haircolor, a haircut, nails, facials, etc. perfectly fine during my impulsive behavior. Unfortunately, I was unlucky to have my first lash extension done by someone who has all the knowledge of doing hair but lacks the skill of putting lashes on. It was horrible. I had glue all over my eyes and she kept reassuring me it's normal. I woke up with one of my eyes glued to the bottom of my lower lashes. I tried washing it off but it was hopeless. That's when I know I had to have the extensions removed asap. I searched and found Karol. I was desperate and Karol was gracious to fit me in her busy schedule to have the extensions removed and salvage my remaining natural lashes. It took months to recover my natural lashes but with Karol's expertise, I was able to put extensions without any hint of the damage that was made.
Now, I've been routinely going to her to maintain these lovely lashes. No more mascara and it really attracts a lot of attention!

Karol is amazing! i've had lash extensions before and i've always found them to be uncomfortable, plus by the end of the first week they'd start to fall out... that is until i started having them done by her. i can't even tell i've got lash extensions until i look in the mirror. no discomfort whatsoever and they look beautiful - tons of length, curl, and volume. plus they look totally natural
i think for the quality of the work, her prices are well reasonable.

Karol takes the time and care to maintain my eyelash extensions. She is very experienced and will explain how to keep your eyelashes looking good in between appointments. Once you've had eyelash extensions, it's difficult to imagine a time when you didn't. Everyone tells me how natural they look (those I tell that is). Most folks just think they are my own. Karol is professional, the environment is great, and her prices are reasonable. I would go nowhere else!

You do get what you pay for! I received very dedicated service for my lashes and they were hard to deal with. Also recommended some GREAT skincare products that have really made a difference!

Karol is fantastic. I go to her for my lash extensions and I couldn't be happier. Her attention to detail is great. She is a perfectionist and it shows. If I ever have a question or concern I email her and receive a response almost immediately.
I don't know how she does it, but she makes you feel like you are her most important client.
If it weren't for Karol, I might look my age (GASP!) I highly recommend her for all your skincare and waxing needs, but for a real treat, get the extensions, you won't regret it.

I love my eyelash extensions ! I have had them for about 5 days now....they still look beautiful, long and lush. I have tried so many different mascaras. everything from $5 to about $40, and the results haven't even come close to how wonderful these look. I'm so happy not to have to wear mascara anymore. I hate applying it and hate taking it off even more!
The eyelash application is about $200 and takes around 2 hours. It didn't hurt at all, there was no heavy eyelid feeling after wards.
Karol did a great job and I would highly recommend her. She was exactly on time, didn't keep me waiting. Also she took the time to talk to me before to see what my expectations were, looked at the shape of my eyes, etc....Her salon is very laid back, it isn't snobby or pretentious at all. she was very good and I will definitely be back for more!!

I had my extensions put in last Saturday and 5 days later my lashes still look "FABU-LASH"! =)
When I first got them put on, I admit that they felt totally artificial and heavy and wondered if I had just wasted my money. But then a day later the uncomfortable feeling went away and my body assimilated to having the false lashes on.. now, I don't even notice that they are on and they feel just like my natural lashes. Really, these extensions are AMAZING! I used to wear eyeliner and mascara everyday all the time.. but with fuller lashes, I don't need any eye makeup and am totally comfortable going out "clean face".
And it's not just all in my head .. people actually notice my lashes and I have been receiving tons of compliments. For example, I was shopping at Bloomingdale's up in SF and a saleslady came up and just had to tell me how gorgeous my lashes were! Of course, I didn't tell her they were fake! (Hey, a girl's gotta have her beauty secrets).

I just got my eyelash extensions and I really love them. They look so real. They are also very light - I don't feel them on my lashes at all. I'm kind of lazy and don't like to put makeup on every day and now my lashes are so lush and black I don't need to worry about mascara. My green eyes really pop! Karol is very professional and pays attention to every detail.

Just got the eyelash extensions for my stubby/sparse lashes (which after an extensive search on Google and Yelp can be intimidating and scary). Karol's price ranges from $180-250+ which falls nicely cheap to mid-range. Also I'd rather pay a little bit more for a better salon -- I don't want my eyelids accidently glued shut!
As an FYI: all eyelash extension procedures take the full 2+ hours so get ready to pop in your iPod and pass out :) Also for people like me who are scared of processes that hurt a lot, this is totally non-invasive and you don't feel a thing!
She was very polite and courteous and gave me lots of helpful suggestions with how to maintain my lashes. I really like that for new clients she does a free adjustment/relash within the first week but after two days, mine are still going strong and look absolutely fantastic. I'm saving tons of time by not having to curl/apply mascara in the morning. Woohoo!!
UPDATE: 2/21: I still get my eyelashes done here (I get so many compliments, but for the most part people think my lashes actually grow this long! They look and feel really real up close) with upkeep every 2-3 weeks. Yay!

Karol is very professional and does a very thourough job. She has troubleshooted and experimented and finally found a great glue that does not sting and really lasts!!. Ive been very happy with her tedious expertise with my eyelashes. I feel I get more for my money because sometimes when I get time-pressed and cannot get in for a fill, my eyelashes still look good even after a 4 week span. Trick is to take really good care of your eyelash extentions (Karol will tell you how) and go to someone who is experienced like Karol!

Karol's facials are absolutely amazing. Her serene and inviting environment in Los Gatos really allow you to relax every bone in your body. Her ability to diagnose your skin 'challenges' and treat your skin is exceptional. My skin improved after the very first facial and it keeps getting better. She is extremely professional, her prices are reasonable, and the attention/service you get is above all expectations. She does a great job scheduling her clients and is always on time. I look forward to every visit and recommend her services highly.
